«Πώς γιορτάζουμεν; Μπορεί έναν ππάρτυν να αποτελέσει πράξην αντίστασης στην κανονιστικότηταν; Το ”Freak the Dream Out” δημιουργά έναν χώρο συνύπαρξης που εξυμνεί το αλλόκοτον, αντλώντας έμπνευσην που συλλογικές συμμετοχικές διαδικασίες όπως τα ανοιχτά βιωματικά εργαστήρια για τα όνειρα τζ̆αι τα φρικιά - που επροηγηθήκαν στο πλαίσιον του The Yard - καθως επισης που τες πρακτικές τζ̆αι την έρευναν της κολλεκτιβας.
Ξεκινώντας που την θεματική του φετινού theYard.Residency: “the day after” προσπαθούμεν μέσα που το ππάρτυν να φανταστούμεν τούντην μέραν, μέσα που έναν συμπερηλιπτικόν πλαίσιον όπου μοιράζουνται τζ̆αι γιορτάζουνται όι μόνον οι χαρές αλλά τζ̆αι τα τραύματα.Μπροστά στην δυστοπικήν επικαιρότηταν προτάσσουμεν το όνειρον. Όι μόνον τα δικά μας όνειρα, αλλά τζ̆αι του κάθε φρικιού, ξωτικού, φανταστικού ή πραγματικού όντος.
Έλα να γίνουμεν η γλάστρα που εν είχασιν ποττέ τ’ αγριόχορτα. Προσκαλούμεν σε να γίνεις μαζί μας έναν απαλόν σφάλμαν στο σύστημα.
Για να μεταμορφώσεις το σώμαν σου χρησιμοποία ό,τι αντικείμενα/υφάσματα έχεις στο σπίτιν, ασημόχαρτο, σπαγγέττι, κορδέλλες, ξύλα, αγριόχορτα που την αυλήν σου, μπαλόνια, ξεχασμένες σακκούλλες, τέλλες κτλ.

Freak the Dream Out - A Performative Party by Koullou Makka Collective
How do we celebrate?
Can a party become an act of resistance to (hetero)normativity?
Drawing inspiration from collective participatory processes such as the open experiential workshops on dreams and freaks - that took place within the frame of The Yard Residency - as well as from the practices within the artistic research of the collective, the happening "Freak the Dream Out" creates a space of co-existence that celebrates the grotesque,
Inspired from the theme of this year's theYard.Residency: "the day after", we try to imagine the future through a party, in which people can be celebrating not only the joy but also the trauma. Before the dystopian present, we try to propose the notion of dreaming. Not only our own dreams, but also those of every freak, elf, fictional or real being.
Come, and let us become the pot that the weeds never had. Let us become a gentle error in the system.
To transform your body, use whatever objects/fabrics you have in your house, silver paper, spaghetti, string, wood, weeds in your yard, balloons, forgotten bags, tape, etc.
Whether you choose to dress up or not,
feel freak to join us!
